As a kid I loved to go to the salon with my mom, and my sister was always happy to let me try to re-create the latest styles on her. After earning a BS in business from Seton Hall University, I moved to NYC, went to cosmetology school and started following my dream.
For over 17 years I worked at the renowned Scott J Salon, starting as an apprentice and quickly worked my way up to Master Stylist. My time at Scott J Salon has honed both my business and cosmetology backgrounds, preparing me to own my own salon.
My husband and I live in Brooklyn Heights and have been renovating our weekend home, an 1840’s colonial in Cornwall Bridge, Connecticut. Another dream has been to spend more time at our home away from The City and when I discovered the sophistication and charm of New Preston, we knew we found our place. I created an intimate and chic setting - a modern and elegant 2 chair studio - to share my hair coloring and cutting skills and sell exclusively Aveda products.
The name, Salvatore Anthony Hair Studio, is an homage to my mother, who always supported and inspired me. The dream continues as I start the next part of my journey in New Preston. Please come join me.
